When you escape to your holiday home in Skegness, it’s all about switching off and soaking up the fresh sea air. But without a proper outdoor space, your relaxation time can feel limited. That’s where custom decking comes in—it transforms your caravan or lodge into a true coastal retreat.
Whether you’re sipping a morning coffee with a sea breeze, hosting evening drinks with friends, or watching the grandkids play, decking creates the perfect backdrop for every moment. Here’s how it enhances your lifestyle—and why so many owners are making the upgrade.
From Static to Stunning: Why Decking Makes a Difference
Decking isn’t just a luxury—it’s a lifestyle upgrade that adds both function and enjoyment to your holiday home. Here’s what makes it so valuable:
1. A Space to Unwind
The beauty of the Skegness coast deserves to be enjoyed outdoors. Decking gives you a clean, level, and private space to lounge, read, dine, or simply relax. Add outdoor furniture, a parasol, or even planters to personalise it to your style.
2. Safer, Cleaner Access
No more muddy shoes or wet grass—especially important if you have little ones or limited mobility. Decking provides safe, step-free access with optional ramps and handrails to suit your needs.
3. Perfect for Entertaining
Your holiday home becomes the go-to spot for summer BBQs and evening catch-ups. Whether it’s a full wraparound or a compact front platform, a deck makes entertaining easy and inviting.
4. Enhances the Whole Look
Let’s face it—decking just makes everything look better. With colour-matched panels, railings, and steps, your caravan or lodge will look smart, clean, and well-maintained. A real head-turner on site.
Designed for Life by the Sea
If you’re based at a park in Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonards or Sutton-on-Sea, you’ll know how the sea air can wear things down fast. That’s why quality matters.
At Superior Decking, we only use materials designed for coastal conditions—from UV-resistant UPVC to composite boards that won’t warp, rot, or fade. You’ll get peace of mind knowing your deck looks good and lasts for years.
Worries? We’ve Solved Them
Worried about the cost?
We offer used and recycled decks to suit all budgets, as well as flexible payment plans—including winter promotions with small deposits and balance due in March.
Think it might be too late in the season?
We install year-round, including through the off-season, so your deck can be ready for spring—fitted even while the park is shut.

Every park is different. We’ve worked on dozens of sites around Skegness and know the guidelines, so we handle it all for you.
